Joshua Davis
CEO/President
Joshua Davis, the Chief Executive Officer and President of VerticalAgent and its parent corporation, DesertedRoad Studios, is the primary architect of the VerticalAgent and ElevateCRM system and infrastructure. Davis brings to VerticalAgent strong leadership skills, extensive application development skills, and a passion for delivering value and service to customers.
Davis has 20-plus years of experience developing custom computer applications for small businesses and Fortune 500s on diverse systems and devices including, personal PCs, servers, mainframes and handheld devices, such as Windows Mobile and the iPhone.
Davis started his first company, Jericho Systems, in high school, providing computer hardware, networking and software services to consumers, businesses and higher-learning institutions. During this time, he also developed a Christian search engine which grew to be the second-largest Christian search engine on the Internet - second to what was then GoFish.net, now Crosswalk.com. Later, in college, due to the rapid growth and demands of the company and time constraints from college coursework, Davis dissolved the company and sold the trade name to buyers in Texas.
Davis has received countless awards and international recognition for his sites and web applications.
Davis is a graduate of Carson-Newman College and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion with a minor in Computer Science.
