Brian Butler

Husband to Shea Butler – My Incredible Wife of over 10 years

Father to Aspyn Butler and Jamee Butler – My Two Beautiful Girls

I was born and raised in Fayette County Georgia to my two wonderful parents, John and Jeannette Butler.  I have one “older” brother, had to make sure everyone knew I was the youngest, Brent Butler.  I grew up in Fayette County playing baseball from the age of 4 until the age of 14.  During these years I had the privilege of playing on many tournament teams and playing in two World Series in which we were the Sandy Koufax World Series Champions in 1990 in Spring, Texas.  In 1986 I began attending Woodward Academy in College Park, Georgia and by the grace of God I graduated in 1994!  I had the great experience of playing Junior Varsity Baseball at Woodward during my 7th and 8th grade years and then became a freshman starter for the next 4 years.  I received many awards during my four years as a Varsity Letterman and had great hopes of being drafted as a senior until I blew out my right shoulder during my sophomore year.  I would go on to partially recover and finish my junior and senior year but unfortunately I lost all of my Division I scholarships and all of the Major League scouts lost interest as well.  I would go on to a small private college in Northeast Georgia, Emmanuel College, on a full ride baseball scholarship, but once again during the fall season of my sophomore year I experienced another shoulder injury that ended my baseball career and my college career.

In 1996, after I made the decision that I would leave college to pursue corporate America, I went to work for A.I.G. in the Automobile Claims Department.  After starting out at the bottom I quickly, in two weeks, began making my way through the ranks in the Auto Insurance Industry.  I would stay with A.I.G. for many years until I moved on to handling General Liability Claims for Home Depot.  After being with them for a couple of years I was recruited by The Hartford Company to come back to the auto side of the insurance business as a Bodily Injury Claims Specialist handling Attorney Represented claims.  Finally, after getting burned out with dealing with people who felt they should become millionaires, by way of an auto accident, I decided to go into the Pest Control Industry.  The time was 2002 and I had a very good friend, by the name of David King, who I had been friends with for 20 years that got me in with the pest control company he was working for at that time.  After being in the business for about 1 week I told my manager that in 2 years I would own and operate my own business as I had already decided this was an industry I could retire from many years down the road.  So after many months of business planning and goal setting, I partnered with my good friend, yes – David King, and we launched Skyline Pest Solutions, Inc. in June 2004, exactly two years and 10 days from me entering the Pest Control Industry.  After reaching our revenue goal within the first year we decided to launch Skyline Home Inspections in August 2005.  Since 2004 Skyline Pest Solutions, Inc. has grown to become one of the leading Termite and Pest Control Companies in the state of Georgia while Skyline Home Inspections has become a well known Home Inspection Company in the Real Estate Industry.

I am a huge family man and I love God, my wife, and two little girls more than anything in this world!   I am a member of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia where I am a member of the church Host Team and also serve as a volunteer for C3G (Christ Centered Career Group) which caters to anyone who is looking to make a career change or in transition.  I am also involved with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta where I serve, along with others from Skyline, as a volunteer in any way that can assist a child or a family going through these difficult times.  I am also a supporter of The American Cancer Society and support and participate in Relay for Life.  I am involved with different Culture Committees in my community in order to provide better environments for our youth and anyone who is in need.  I am actively involved in the Real Estate Industry and the Georgia Hotel and Lodging Association.  I am also involved in the GPCA, Georgia Pest Control Association, Leadership group where we are continuously striving to improve our industry for the betterment of the consumer.

I view my life as a way to give back to God, my family, my business, and my community as I am very blessed to have such wonderful companies that allow me the freedom to serve others!
